The stage is set for Christmas program rehearsal. We truly are blessed with the best music teacher!

Join us on Wednesday afternoon!

Two of our 5th graders had the honor of being chosen as illustrators for a special children's book. Today, they participated in a book signing at Marshall County Public Library. We are so proud of these Green Devils - Annie Collins & Trinity Lane.

Fun Christmas Night!

We have two Sharpe teams that will be playing for Little League Championships tomorrow! 2nd/3rd Girls @9AM 4th/5th Girls @11:30 Championship games will be at Central! Go girls!! 💙🏀💚🏀🧡

Proud of these students for excellent behavior over the last week!

Register today!

We had a Christmas dance-off this morning, and these sweet girls tied for the win!

Some of our third graders work together each morning in the library with Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Abbye to enrich their reading and math skills. Mrs. Martin had them doing great things today!

Each morning this month, we are having a little extra holiday fun in the gym. This morning, two teams competed in a snowball throwing contest. We learned that one of our kindergarten students has an amazing arm, but the green snowball put the other team ahead for the win!

December is a busy place at Sharpe - mark your calendars!

❄️Snow is so much more fun when it happens with your friends at school ❄️

You may think that learning stops during lunch, but that is not true. Even when Mrs. Allison is sharing the joke of the day, she teaches our students. Today, she discussed two vocabulary words with our kindergarten and first grade students - UNIQUE and TAME. Ask them if they remember the definitions 💚 If they don't, take a moment to reteach, when students have strong vocabularies, they have higher reading comprehension.

Every Monday, Mrs. Elyssa leads a number talk in the library for this group of 4th graders. This is a great time to jumpstart and enrich Math WIN time each week.

Congratulations to last week's Classes of the Week!

We saw students this week reach 100% positivity for the first time this school year - we are so proud of them, and we are super proud of these students who were announced this morning as Students of the Week.

Mrs. Aspen spent the day with our 5th Grade Honor Choir at Murray State University. They worked with other students in our area all day to present a special performance this evening.
