It's always a fun time in preschool...sometimes they make Mrs. Terry into a unicorn!

Be sure to watch WPSD Local 6 tonight at 5 or 6 to see Mrs. Lisa and Mr. Todd!

✨ We can’t wait to welcome our students back on Tuesday for our first day after break!
We also hope to see our families on Thursday evening for Family Math Night—a fun and informative way to learn about the math happening in your child’s classroom.
Let’s start the new year strong with math! 💚➕➗

Merry Christmas!

Mr. Lamb really enjoyed our Snow Day fun! ❄️

One of our first graders and Mr. Thorpe (MC Superintendent) were discussing important business on Thursday.

A little Christmas Grinch and toy stealing in PE this week 💚🎄

Congratulations to our 4th/5th grade team on winning the district championship tonight!

This is the registration link for the more competitive MC basketball league after Christmas.
We are excited to announce that our very own, Rose Brown, is the 5th grade level winner for the Marshall County Hospital Christmas Card Contest. Every year the Marshall County Hospital presents this contest to the elementary students across the district. We are so proud of Rose and we thank the MCH for this opportunity to showcase and recognize the arts in our schools. Rose received a monetary prize, a bag of festive goodies, and special recognition during our morning announcements. We are SO proud of you, Rose!

Mrs. Bevil and Mrs. Terry were invited to a student led play this afternoon in 4th grade. These students have been working during recess to write and produce their own Christmas play. #studentleadership

Students in 3rd grade are digging into a chapter book to wrap up the semester, and they are having great discussions with one another.

Mrs. Barrett read a book to pair with her measurement lesson. She even discussed ELA (English Language Arts) concepts as she talked about math. Reading is essential to mathematical success. #GlowingEducator

These classes have worked hard for this recognition. Congratulations!

Proud of these students!
