🟢 Safety First at Sharpe! 🟢
Today our Green Devil family spent time practicing our safety drill procedures. While we hope we never have to use these skills in a real emergency, practicing helps ensure that our students and staff know exactly what to do, where to go and how to respond.
We are proud of our students for taking the drills seriously and following directions so well! Safety is a team effort, and we will continue to practice throughout the year to keep our Green Devils safe. 💚

When a child is struggling, the people who love them most may not realize how much they are hurting or know what to say. Join youth suicide prevention expert Jonathan B. Singer, PhD, LCSW, for practical guidance on recognizing the signs, starting difficult conversations, and helping a child feel heard and supported.
This event is intended for parents and caregivers of children in grades K–12, as well as educators and school professionals who support young people.

Speaker Bio
Jonathan B. Singer, PhD, LCSW, is a professor of social work at Loyola University Chicago and a leading expert on youth suicide prevention. He is the former president of the American Association of Suicidology, coauthor of Suicide in Schools, and host of the award-winning Social Work Podcast. Dr. Singer also serves on The Wellness Institute’s Clinical Advisory Board.
