Now Hiring: 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Site Coordinator — We are seeking a dedicated leader to manage daily afterschool program operations, including scheduling, student safety, and behavior management, while ensuring compliance with Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) grant requirements. This role includes tracking attendance and student data, managing program budgets, utilizing computer systems for reporting and organization, implementing academic enrichment and tutoring aligned with school-day goals, supervising and training staff, and building strong partnerships with community organizations. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, along with experience working with school-age youth, and strong organizational, communication, leadership, computer, and budget management skills. This position is typically school-based with afternoon and summer hours, focused on promoting positive youth development and improving student outcomes. Mrs. Aspen will be moving to North Marshall Middle School as their new Band Director, and while we are incredibly excited for her, we know we have some big shoes to fill!
She has been such a blessing to Sharpe Elementary, and her impact has gone far beyond daily music lessons. She has built relationships, inspired creativity and poured into our students in ways that will last long after they leave our halls.
As we begin the search for our next music teacher, we are looking for someone who can ignite a love for music in all students. At Sharpe, our educators go above and beyond, so we are also seeking a team member who is willing to collaborate across classrooms—supporting instruction in reading and math through co-teaching, interventions and enrichment opportunities.

But, she is so much more than a secretary - she is a personal assistant to many of us, a nurse, a friend, a mom, a cheerleader, a custodian, an event planner and the best at giving unnecessary apologies. She is humble and loving and kind. She serves our school family so well!
