Join us for the annual community-wide Friday Night Light kickoff tailgate tomorrow night from 5:00 til kickoff. Everyone is invited to come out and join us on the practice football field! Bring the whole family. We will have free hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and desserts. The kids will love the inflatables, too!

Tomorrow, Monday, August 19, all schools in Kentucky have been challenged to wear pink in memory of Lucy, a fourth grader from Henderson County who tragically passed away.

We announced our first set of Green Ambassadors this afternoon. Each year, we choose 5th graders to help lead and guide the rest of our students. These students serve in the cafeteria each morning, monitor the gym and hallways, lead our buses and help take care of some of our younger students as they arrive and depart each day. There are high expectations for these leaders to exemplify Green Devil Greatness each day.

Second graders had a great day learning more about one another.
Classes have been practicing safety drills all week. Mrs. Amber's kindergarten class did a great job learning the safest way to evacuate during a fire drill.

These people are special. So many of them have spent the entire summer preparing for the students that will enter our building tomorrow. They have trained and learned and prepped to be the very best for our Green Devils. Your children are in great hands! 💚
