Every day at Sharpe Elementary, our students in grades K-3 participate in small reading groups designed to meet them exactly where they are. In these groups, teachers provide targeted instruction, immediate feedback and meaningful conversations that build confidence and skills—one reader at a time.
This intentional work helps our Green Devils grow as readers, thinkers and problem-solvers. We’re proud of the daily progress happening in every classroom! 💪📖

It’s NTI Day 3 for our Sharpe Green Devils! 💚
Just like the last two NTI days, our teachers have learning activities ready and will be available throughout the day to support students via ClassDojo and email. Students may also join their grade-level optional Google Meet help time if extra support is needed.
✅ Students should complete their NTI Day 3 assignments to be counted present
✅ Teachers will share directions and expectations through Dojo
✅ Please reach out anytime if your child needs help — we’re here for you!
Thank you for partnering with us to keep learning going, even when we can’t be in the building. Our Green Devils always rise to the challenge! 💪💚

Tomorrow would have been our 100th Day of School; however, our teachers agree it’s much more fun to celebrate together at school! We will now celebrate on Wednesday, February 4th, which will be our 105th Day of School—we’re calling it the 100th Day + 5.
If you’ve already purchased a special shirt, no worries—it will still work perfectly! And yes, any “100-year-old” visitors joining us will still look delightfully old stepping off those school buses, whether they’re 100 or 105. 😉
We can’t wait to celebrate together!

On Tuesday, this little cutie was sporting her Indiana shirt, and this shirt reminds us of our monthly character trait, perseverance. If you don't know about the quarterback from this team, you should check him out - he is a picture of PERSEVERANCE!
